I know for some, visiting a location for a kiddie coaster credit is eye rolling. For others, it’s a must. Well, for me, if it’s nearby, I’m all for it. I’m not driving hours on end for one. That’s reserved for things like Zippin’ Pippin earlier in this trip. For a kiddie coaster like Tom Foolerys Sky Rangers, not so much.
Luckily for Jen and me, we had a few hours to kill after riding the Wisconsin Dells Mountain Coaster before calling it a night and visiting Mt. Olympus Theme Park the next morning.
I Fit... Barely!
I had no idea if I could even ride Sky Rangers before leaving for our trip, so I emailed Tom Foolerys to get my answer. I didn’t want to bother going there just to be denied. They assured us that we were good to ride. So to Tom Foolerys we went.
After a bit of a parking debacle with the Fourth of July fireworks show that night, we got things figured out and boarded our train… umm plane? After sitting down, I realized my lap bar barely closed. I had to push it down hard. Man this one was tight! So if you’re looking to be a credit whore too, just be warned. I’m not huge by any means, although I’m a little pudgier than I used to be here now at 46 years old.
Sky Rangers
If you enjoy right turns, this coaster is for you! It’s full of them and you go around the oval course several times. Yeah, there isn’t much I can say about this one. Sky Rangers is easily one of the smallest coasters I’ve ever experienced. And for all you who follow We Were Inverted on YouTube, one of these days I’ll post my POV from this indoor ride. Yes, I filmed it.

Credit 496... Inching Closer to 500
Aside from being close to Mt. Olympus, I also made sure to grab this credit to inch me even closer to my 500th credit. I wasn’t sure which park I’d be getting 500 at during this trip, but by adding in Santa’s Village last minute, and by grabbing all the random credits in the Dells, it was now looking like 500 would be at Mt. Olympus. Now… which one should be 500?
