Wingman Bio

I managed to capture this shot of Renee and our friend, Brian (row 2), the day we all rode Twisted Timbers for the first time.

I met Renee through Kayla and before long, the three of us worked together and got to know each other very well. Like Kayla, Renee attended a handful of our workplace’s annual amusement park trips, going to places like Six Flags Great Adventure (SFGAdv) and Knoebels for the first time.

You can always count on Renee to have a great time during any of our park trips. She loves being around her friends can usually be found riding rides with Kayla and myself. On top of hanging out with her friends, Renee is also someone who can enjoy the little things at a park. It doesn’t have to be just about the biggest, baddest, most intense rides. She is perfectly content getting on a train, some boats, or smaller flat rides too. She also enjoys other details that some probably don’t even notice, such as a park’s landscaping. That is why she loves Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW). Who doesn’t think that BGW is a beautiful park?

Our most recent visit to BGW came for Howl-O-Scream in October 2019. Renee, Kayla, Brad, and myself all drove down on a very rainy day, but lucked out when the clouds moved out. It just so happened to be about 15 minutes after the girls bought ponchos. Oh well!

Since this site’s launch, Renee has also been able to visit a few more parks with me and some of the Flight Crew. She and I visited Hersheypark in 2020, getting three rides in a row on Candymonium in less than 15 minutes. My favorite trip of that year, however, was when Renee, Greg, Sam, and myself visited Camelback Mountain Adventures (CMA) and Dorney Park back-to-back. Talk about a fun day with some good friends.
