With Beech Bend the last remaining amusement park left on our trip, I had plotted out a couple different courses for us to take down to Bowling Green and back to Louisville to fly home in a couple of days. Those courses included ways for us to stop at anywhere between one to three different Malibu Jack’s family entertainment centers. The first of these was also in Louisville, which we could either do immediately following Kentucky Kingdom, or on our final day before flying home from the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. We elected to do it after Kentucky Kingdom.
You Spin Me Right Round, Baby, Right Round: Round 1
Now while this was our first stop at a Malibu Jack’s, it wasn’t our first SBF Visa spinner of the trip. A few days ago we experienced another at the Track Family Fun Parks in Branson, Mo. My quest to ride 100 of these coasters was in full swing. And as far as Malibu Jack’s was concerned, they had quite a few offerings for me to take advantage of throughout the state of Kentucky.
Twist-n-Shout
Like a bunch of other SBF Visa spinners out there this coaster is named Twist-n-Shout. So not only is the ride far from an original model on my credit list, I’m also slowly racking up numerous credits named Twist-n-Shout. It’s beginning to challenge the Wacky Worms, Wild Mouses, Mad Mouses, and Fiesta Expresses out there.
Thankfully this one did not spin us too much. With a bit of a ride ahead of us to Beech Bend, I didn’t want to feel like crap during the drive. That usually isn’t the case with these, but there have been a few, right Sam? Myrtle Turtle! I’m still not sure if that second car we sat in is done spinning yet.

One More, Maybe Two More Malibu Jack's to Come
After our one ride, I walked around and took a few photos before we left. We were literally in and out pretty quick. I know… That’s what she said!
Anyhow, I was impressed with this family entertainment center and wish we had ones like this closer to Baltimore. The closest one I can think of that features a coaster, also an SBF Visa spinner named Twist-n-Shout, is Fun Land of Fredericksburg. We have Dave & Busters here, but none of them, to my knowledge, have anything ride related. I’m jealous!
