When we left Baltimore to make our way to Kings Dominion, we realized that Jen was sitting at 98 coaster credits. There would be one new credit for her to grab at Kings Dominion in Rapterra, but there was a way for her to make her 100th – a stop at Fun Land of Fredericksburg (FLF). It was on the way, the timing would work out, and Eric was running a little behind in the other car full of our friends who planned to meet us at Kings Dominion. Perfect!
A Stop Made Numerous Times
Since I began this site in 2020 I have made four separate stops for various Flight Crew members to grab a plus one credit on their SBF Visa spinner, Twist-n-Shout. Having just published recent trip reports from the nine day trip Sam and I just came home from, yes, another Twist-n-Shout SBF Visa spinner. They’re everywhere!
Twist-n-Shout
While this was my very first SBF Visa spinner, it was not Jen’s. She rode Spinning Parrot last year at the Island in Pigeon Forge (IPG). Thankfully she did that before her and Sam headed over to sample the moonshine. This coaster and some alcohol sure seem like a recipe for disaster.
There would be no moonshine on this day. We did just eat breakfast though, so hopefully Jen wouldn’t spin too much. I elected not to ride so I could film her zen ride from the sidelines. I was a bit surprised though that she only went around the course three times. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like this used to do more laps than three? Perhaps I’m remembering some of the dozens of other SBF Visas I’ve now experienced. I know others go around more than that. But for the price FLF charges, three laps seems short. Jen didn’t seem to care though. And after her ride, we were back out on the road headed to Kings Dominion.

I'm Sure We Will Stop Again in the Future
Since FLF is on the way to both Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) for us, I am sure we will stop at FLF again at some point in the future. We visit both those parks on a regular basis and before long we’ll have another Flight Crew member who will need the credit. Until then, I’ll have to find even more Twist-n-Shouts to experience. It hasn’t been hard. I feel like I’m tripping over them sometimes.
