Craig’s Cruisers: Grand Rapids – Just Cruising By

Whenever I plan out road trips to various amusement parks, I also make sure I keep an eye out for family entertainment centers (FECs) that are close by. That is how Sam and I ended up at the three different Malibu Jack’s locations in Kentucky earlier this year. With that being said, it almost came true for Jen and I with several Craig’s Cruiser locations in Michigan too.

I found several Craig’s Cruisers that were along our way between the airport, Michigan’s Adventure, and then headed toward Six Flags Great America (SFGAm). I knew we’d be getting one of them for sure, the Grand Rapids location. We’d head there straight off the plane before making our way to Michigan’s Adventure. The other locations would depend on if we wanted to add a detour or head out of Michigan’s Adventure early for the credits. We were already getting to the park late, so I wasn’t too keen on the idea of leaving early too. So ultimately, we just ended up at the one in Grand Rapids. The next time I head to Michigan’s Adventure I would like to stop at the others.

So what kind of experience did we get on Cruiser Coaster? Was it a tame ride with hardly any spinning? Was it a spin-fest from start to finish? Well, neither exactly. It started off without too much spinning, but toward the end we were getting spun like mad. I was so ready to get off the ride too. I’m not going to lie, I was feeling a bit woozy as we pulled back into the station.

We had been up for a while now having just flown into town not too long ago. Between being tired and hungry, this ride owned me. I couldn’t do too much about the tired part, but we should have stopped and eaten first.
